Back in the day, when Charlie was a fresh faced kindergartener, he was in the spring play. At the time, he had the World's Greatest Elementary Music Teacher (Mrs. Rita Behrens), and he absolutely loved to sing. And to put himself out there, and give it his all, with a giant smile on his face. See the evidence:
Now the only singing he does is in his room, with his door shut. Or around the house, if he thinks we aren't paying attention. And it would be like pulling teeth to get him to take part in a play today. But we still have our memories:
So if you have a young child, who is in a program this lovely month of May, take lots of pictures, and enjoy the fun while it lasts.
