mamma mia !

Yes, I am a bit behind the times.

I finally saw Mamma Mia last night, and I have been singing all morning. How can a movie that takes place on a Greek island, with buff boys, singing, dancing, and a great love story every be wrong?

I hearby proclaim Meryl Streep to be the most fabulous, amazing, talented actress of all time. And I thought so before I saw her sing and dance.

And while Pierce Brosnan is dandy to look at, in a rugged/refined James Bond kind of way, he can't carry a tune to save his soul. But he clearly knows that, and so did everyone else, and they cast him anyway, and it was delightful.

I am going back again next week. This one is definitely a keeper.
