1. My furnace came on this morning, and it is kind of nice to hear that quiet hum in the background.
2. I am going for my yearly physical today, and I have not been able to drink ANY coffee as I have to fast for my cholesterol test. Be glad you aren't in my house this morning.
3. I have to schedule my yearly mammogram today, which always makes me think of my aunt, who isn't with us anymore.

ReplyDeleteI hate fasting for the cholesterol test! The little button that says "hope" is sooo sweet.
ReplyDeleteI can hardly handle the no coffee on cholesterol testing day...I empathize! Hope your physical goes fabulously and good for you for scheduling that mammogram. The bracelet is awesome...you should make some for hospital gift shops!
ReplyDeleteLove it. Since a significant portion of my wardrobe is pink, this would get worn all the time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice giveaway. You are gorgeous...like your jewelry.

Mom is a breast cancer hero. I flew home to be there when she started chemo. I helped her choose a wig and some snazzy hats before shaving her head one morning over a shaky cup of coffee. Mom's fight was private and fierce. She's got a will of iron and never lost hope. She is who I aspire to be when I grow up. Thank you for remembering the fight in your art and those who have fought valiantly.
ReplyDeleteThe kids have 2 teachers (Mother and Daughter) who are breast cancer survivors. I would be honored to wear this beautiful bracelet that you made. It would be a constant reminder of all who fought and overcame and those that didn't this awful word "cancer" in all forms.

How sweet of you to have a giveaway! The bracelet is beautiful. I love the "hope" button.
ReplyDeleteWhat a surprise to come to your blog and see a contest! How delightful! My mother is a cancer survivor and about two years ago, I had my own scare. Blessings to you and to your Aunt as well. May her life and breath live on through those whose life she touched.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to honor your aunt and what a beautiful bracelet. I would love this for my sister!
